**Job Title: A&P Mechanic** **Job Description** Join a well-established flight operation and maintenance facility located in the Bay Area as an A&P Mechanic. We specialize in the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of 63 general aviation aircraft, including piston-engine types such as Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, Diamond, and Cirrus. We are seeking skilled mechanics, both entry-level and experienced, to support our ongoing maintenance operations. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine and preventative maintenance on general aviation aircraft. + Conduct thorough inspections in accordance with FAA regulations. + Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and avionics issues. + Complete accurate and timely maintenance records. + Collaborate with flight operations to ensure aircraft availability. **Essential Skills** + A&P Certification (required). + General aviation maintenance experience (preferred). + Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and in a team environment. + Must have basic tools (company provides a monthly tool stipend). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Inspection Authorization (IA) is highly preferred. + Experience with piston-engine aircraft such as Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, Diamond, and Cirrus. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a fleet of 63 aircraft. The schedule includes two shifts from Monday to Friday: 8am - 4:30pm or 11:30am - 8pm, with flexible shifts to accommodate commute times. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palo Alto, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
