Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is searching for a Full Time Activities and Recreation Coordinator to join our team at our Spencer Street location. Our Spencer Street location offers residential care services for adults.

Activities and Recreation Coordinator responsibilities

Provide therapeutic, fundamental instruction in recreation activities to clients
Organize and lead weekly outings in the community
Assist clients with organizing and participating in leisure, recreational activities
Prepare and post community outings schedule, including routinely scheduled activities, special events, special interests and individual programming

Activities and Recreation Coordinator qualifications

Two years of experience providing recreation services to adults with disabilities
The ability to plan and execute community activities with minimal supervision
A valid Driver's License, with a safe driving record and proof of automobile insurance
The ability communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Formal education/training in activities or recreation and knowledge of community resources for recreation and activities a plus.
