Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a balanced resident-centered activity program for an assisted living community.
• Assess, plan, and manage facilitation of a comprehensive activities program utilizing volunteers.
• Recruit entertainers and schedule special events.
• Prepare and review the activity calendar and newsletter with the Executive Director prior to submitting for printing.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate appropriate mixed group (assisted living and memory care) activities.
• Conduct regularly scheduled and specialized activities in the memory care neighborhood three times weekly, while maintaining a daily presence in the neighborhood.
• Maintain a robust public relations program in support of the activities, programming, and community operations.
• Manage and implement a consistent volunteer orientation and training program.
• Involve families, residents, and community volunteers to participate as a regular part of the activity program.
