Job Summary:
The Department of Theatre Arts and Dance in the College of Liberal Arts, at the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for non-tenured adjuncts.
The Department of Theatre Arts and Dance occasionally has openings for part-time temporary adjunct positions. Applying for a part-time teaching appointment in Theatre Arts and Dance would add the applicant to a pool that is available to the departmental search committee for consideration in case the need arises for the 2024-2025 academic year. These appointments will be part-time and with no guarantee of renewal.
In accordance with USCIS regulations, successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Essential Duties:
Teach one or more courses in Theatre Arts and/or Dance such as Acting, Dance Appreciation, Introduction to Theatre, Playwriting & New Play Development, Theatre History, Theatre Design, Stage Management, Jazz, Tap, Modern, Hip-Hop, or Choreography.
Required Qualifications:
MFA or PhD in a Theatre, Dance, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching undergraduate students in theatre and dance.
