Primary Role Assists the Central Senior Operators in the operation of the pumping, filtration, chemical feeding, basin facilities, and other equipment at the plants. Duties and responsibilities are identical to those of the Senior Operator except that the Assistant will take direction from the Senior Operator. It is expected that a larger portion of the Assistant Operator's time will be spent in the vicinity of the basins, filters, various pumps, and chemical feeders, whereas much of the Senior Operator's time will be spent at the controls.
