Job Description

Description We are looking for 2 skilled Attorneys to join our client in Yorba Linda, CA for a long-term contract position. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation and workers' compensation cases. The role offers an opportunity to engage in trial preparation, deposition work, and drafting settlement documents. Responsibilities: - Represent clients in workers' compensation and civil litigation cases, ensuring their legal rights are effectively upheld. - Prepare and conduct depositions, including doctor depositions, to gather critical case information. - Draft and review settlement documents to facilitate resolution of cases. - Manage pre-trial and trial proceedings, including strategy development and courtroom representation. - Handle discovery processes, including document review and evidence collection. - Draft motions and legal briefs to support case arguments and strategies. Requirements - Licensed attorney with active membership in the state bar. - Proven experience in civil litigation and workers' compensation cases. - Strong trial experience, including the ability to take cases to trial or confidently prepare for trial. - Solid understanding of discovery processes and evidence collection.
