Job Description

Mackie Wolf Zientz & Mann and AVT Title Services are seeking an individual with trustee and auctioneer experience to join our team in Franklin, TN! Our firm offers a very competitive benefits and compensation package. 

This position is fully in-office. Our office is conveniently located right off HWY 65, in the heart of Cool Springs. This position will require out of state travel 25% of the time. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for management of the trustee/auctioneer business unit operations (Arkansas, Tennessee and Texas), maintaining and fostering timely and responsive communications with AVT’s clients; assuring the adherence to the clients’ deadlines, informational requirements, and case-handling specifications applicable to the assigned operations; and making certain that all production and service standards are maintained at levels which meet the clients’ strict limeline requirements; work with leadership team to build out additional direct service areas which increases profitability and enhances the company’s reputation in the industry as a provider of efficient and excellent trustee/auctioneer services.

 

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Manage remote employees, independent contractors, and third party auction companies who are directly responsible for the day-to-day workloads that support the trustee/auctioneer line of business.

2. Drive technology improvements to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.

3. Make decisions regarding employment, training and development, corrective actions, promotions, and terminations, assuring that decisions are according to established company policies and/or precedents.

4. Respond to difficult or challenging contacts with independent contractors and clients to reach a resolution that is beneficial to the company while maintaining the professional image and competitive industry position.

5. Manage all independent contractors and/or other external contacts to assure that the service level is timely, accurate, and of the highest quality, and is in accordance with company directives and specifications.

6. Assists in the preparation annual budgets and operating statements, responding to budget variances, and assuring operation within budget constraints.

7. Performs additional duties as requested.

POSITION PREFERENCES:

1. College degree; or equivalent of 10+ years of related work experience.

2. Seven plus years mortgage banking/servicing experience.

3. Seven plus years supervisory experience with progressively more responsible positions.

4. Excellent PC skills including knowledge of Client middleware systems (Loansphere, Vendorscape, Tempo…).

5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals of varying authority in a professional and efficient manner.
