Polisher/Detailer at Auto Body Collision Shop
**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Polisher/Detailer to join our auto body collision repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for the final finishing touches on vehicles after collision repairs, ensuring they look pristine and showroom-ready. This includes polishing, buffing, and detailing both interiors and exteriors to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition or better. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform thorough cleaning and restoration of vehicle exteriors, including washing, waxing, polishing, and buffing to remove scratches, overspray, and restore shine after body repairs.
- Clean and detail vehicle interiors by vacuuming, shampooing carpets and upholstery, wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows, and deodorizing to eliminate odors and stains.
- Apply protective coatings, sealants, waxes, and ceramic treatments to safeguard paint and finishes against damage.
- Inspect vehicles for defects, imperfections, or remaining repair issues before and after detailing, and perform minor touch-ups like paint repairs or scratch removal.
- Operate specialized tools and equipment such as buffers, polishers, steamers, vacuums, and hoses safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and vehicle conditions, while managing inventory of detailing supplies.
- Assist with vehicle movement, delivery to customers, and addressing client questions or concerns professionally.
- Ensure a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment.

Requirements
**Qualifications and Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in auto body detailing or a related automotive field preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of detailing techniques, tools, products, and automotive finishes.
- Strong attention to detail, physical stamina for standing, bending, and lifting, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Certification in automotive detailing or related training is a plus.
