New Gig Solutions has partnered with a well-established tax and financial services firm that’s actively seeking 2-3 Bookkeepers to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a multi-client environment, and brings a strong foundation in bookkeeping and financial operations.
What You’ll Do:
Handle day-to-day financial recordkeeping across a diverse client portfolio.
Reconcile monthly bank and credit card transactions to maintain accurate financial data.
Manage invoicing, payments, and incoming receivables to support cash flow.
Produce routine financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash summaries.
Organize and prepare financial documentation for use in tax resolution matters.
Communicate regularly with both internal staff and external tax professionals to ensure records are complete and compliant.
Monitor accounts and flag inconsistencies or potential issues proactively.
Assist with ongoing projects related to financial analysis and operational improvements.
What We’re Looking For:
Prior bookkeeping experience, especially in a professional services or multi-client setting.
Proficiency with QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) and strong Excel skills.
Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts and bookkeeping procedures.
Great attention to detail and the ability to keep things organized in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
Comfort working independently while meeting deadlines.
Previous exposure to tax or financial services is a plus.
A high level of integrity when working with confidential client information.
Other Considerations:
Comfortable working at a desk and computer for extended periods.
Able to handle light physical tasks, such as lifting office supplies (up to 10 lbs).
Professional in email and phone interactions with clients and teammates.
