We are a globally leading software development services company seeking a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) with a technical background to join our team. You don’t need formal sales experience to apply, as we’ll provide all the training you need. We’re looking for people with the right personality, aptitude and a background in software development.
As an BDR, you will be responsible for generating high-quality leads and securing meetings with potential clients for our software development offerings. Your role is crucial in expanding our client base and driving company growth.
This is an onsite role at our office in Philadelphia, where you’ll be working directly with other sales people and the CEO, who is heading the build-out of our Philly sales office.

Key Responsibilities
Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting activities
Utilize various tools and platforms, including cold calling, LinkedIn, email, and other outbound tactics to identify and engage potential clients
Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the account executives
Maintain a high volume of daily outreach activities
Collaborate with the team to align outbound efforts with inbound marketing strategies
Track and report on all sales activities and results using our CRM system
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and our company's services
A technical understanding of software development, whether through past career experience or your own side projects – we’re looking for people who have opened up a terminal and written code
Ideally in Philadelphia proper, but the surrounding suburbs are OK as well if you’re willing to commute into the city.
Ability to use data in decision-making

Outgoing, good with people, and able to think on your feet
Able to learn and pick up new software tools quickly
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

Above industry base salary + a lucrative commission structure
