About SV Academy

SV Academy is dedicated to helping aspiring sales professionals build successful careers in tech. Our comprehensive training and personalized coaching have helped thousands of graduate's land roles at leading tech companies.

This program includes a two-week, hands-on training experience followed by a full-time W2, salaried, 12-week SDR Residency with a high-growth employer partner. Residents receive real-world experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop critical sales skills in a live environment.

About the BDR Role

We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude and natural sales instincts to join our Sales organization as a Business Development Representative. Your purpose will be to uncover and qualify new opportunities across our target market. You'll be measured on your ability to create Opportunities that lead to new business. Ideal candidates should be eager to advance their career by demonstrating their ability to be tenacious self-starters every day.

What’s In It For You:

  • The opportunity to generate new business opportunities to fuel our growth

  • Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory

  • Research and build accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling)

  • Conduct high level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts

Requirements:

  • Full-time availability for the duration of the Residency.

  • A clear understanding of the BDR role and how your skills align with it.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • A passion for sales, business development, and hitting targets.
