A growing healthcare services organization is seeking a Call Center Associate to provide customer service support for Long-Term Care and related healthcare programs. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with call center or customer service experience, strong multitasking skills, and the ability to handle sensitive health-related information with accuracy and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver professional, prompt, and courteous customer service for Medicaid and long-term care inquiries.
Gather and verify all necessary information from patients, caregivers, or providers to process requests efficiently and accurately.
Identify and document issues, ensuring timely resolution or escalation to appropriate departments.
Complete required monthly telephone monitoring and maintain accurate call records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Use multiple computer systems and windows simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Adhere to departmental timelines, privacy regulations, and quality standards for all communications.
Provide guidance on Medicaid-related processes and assist callers in understanding healthcare program requirements.
High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred.
MediClear certification or equivalent healthcare credential required
Some customer service or call center experience in healthcare, insurance, or government programs.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Strong multitasking ability with effective time management and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while meeting performance metrics and call resolution targets.
Knowledge of Medicaid programs, elderly care, or disability services is a plus.
