Summary Loving Touch Daycare is urgently seeking a
highly qualified and experienced Pre-K Teacher to join our team. We are looking for a passionate educator who is dedicated to early childhood development, experienced in implementing structured curriculum, and skilled in creating a nurturing and organized classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Must have a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree preferred).
- Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Pre-K teacher in a licensed childcare center.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Ability to set up, organize, and maintain a structured Pre-K classroom that fosters learning and social-emotional growth.
- Experience managing a Pre-K classroom independently while implementing engaging and age-appropriate activities.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment .
- Familiarity with Georgia Bright from the Start guidelines and Georgia Quality Rated standards (preferred).
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a structured Pre-K curriculum that meets state standards and fosters school readiness.
- Set up and maintain a well-organized, inviting, and developmentally appropriate classroom.
- Create lesson plans that promote literacy, math, science, and social-emotional learning .
- Establish routines that help children feel safe and confident in their learning environment.
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior.
- Conduct regular assessments and track student progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents through Brightwheel and in-person meetings.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to maintain a high-quality learning experience.

- Compliance & Safety: Follow Georgia Bright from the Start and Georgia Quality Rated guidelines, ensuring a safe and regulated classroom environment.
This is a
full-time, immediate-hire position for a
dedicated and experienced Pre-K teacher who can manage a classroom with confidence and enthusiasm.
Requirements Must have a valid updated CDA
Or an associates degree in early childhood learning
