Description Responsibilities: - Oversee Engineering Operations: Manage and supervise all engineering activities within the resort.
- Team Management: Lead and coordinate a team of maintenance staff.
- Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and oversee repair and maintenance tasks for all facilities and equipment.
- Energy Management: Implement and monitor energy-saving initiatives to optimize resource usage.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all engineering operations comply with safety regulations and standards.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the engineering department's budget.
- Guest Satisfaction: Maintain high standards of facility functionality to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Vendor Relations: Coordinate with external vendors for equipment and service procurement.
Requirements - Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in engineering management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen equipment, and other building systems.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Communication: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in engineering and safety standards.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
