Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced CNC Grinder to join our skilled team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision grinding for tight-tolerance parts. You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC grinding machines to produce components that meet exacting aerospace and defense standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC and manual grinding machines.
• Perform precision internal, external, and surface grinding operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to verify compliance with tight tolerances.
• Select proper grinding wheels, fixtures, and feeds & speeds for each job.
• Troubleshoot grinding issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain equipment and ensure the work area is clean and safe.
• Work collaboratively with machinists, engineers, and quality control personnel to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience with CNC grinding (OD, ID, surface, or jig grinding).
• Strong understanding of grinding principles, wheel selection, dressing, and coolant use.
• Ability to read blueprints and use micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with aerospace or high-precision components preferred.
• Solid problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
