Job Description

Chick-fil-A Union Station is seeking a skilled and reliable  Cook to join our dynamic Dining Services team. As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking delicious and nutritious meals for the college community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned

• Proven experience as a line cook or similar role.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to handle a high-volume setting.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Stand for entire shift.
• Lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
• Perform repetitive tasks (chopping, slicing, mixing).
• Use knives and kitchen tools safely.
• Bend, reach, and stoop frequently.
