Corporate Associate
Los Angeles

The Los Angeles office is seeking an associate with 3 – 4 years of experience to join our Corporate team.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Knowledge of federal securities laws, rules and regulations.
• Broad range of experience with corporate transactions, including private offerings of equity securities, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate matters.
• Experience representing venture capital, growth equity, or private equity firms in fund formations, as well as ongoing investment firm operations matters and compliance with the Investment Company Act, the Investment Advisers Act, the Securities Act, and other regulatory requirements, is preferred but not required.
• Experience with investment fund formation as well as relevant experience in the corporate group or investment group of a top-tier law firm
• Experience drafting LLC agreements, LP agreements, and other related documentation.
• Major law firm experience preferred.
• A high level of academic achievement.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.

The anticipated base salary range for this full-time role is $225,000 to $250,000 per year. Actual salary will depend upon several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, job-related skills, and qualifications.
