A reputable, high growth global consumer products leader is seeking a Manager, Cost Accounting to lead key financial functions supporting their global businesses. This role is instrumental in driving the development of standardized global cost accounting processes, enhancing financial reporting, and implementing automation tools for improved accuracy and efficiency, particularly in the areas of cost accounting and global transfer pricing. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strong technical accounting expertise, leadership in process optimization, and deep experience in manufacturing environments. *$145-$160K total comp (base + full annual bonus)* *Hybrid 3 days/week in office* Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain global standardized manufacturing and cost accounting processes Drive automation initiatives related to cost accounting and financial reporting, including testing and implementation Enhance and support the global transfer profit program; resolve local country issues related to pricing and margins Analyze manufacturing costs and assess impact on distribution and financial performance Guide and advise global teams on cost accounting best practices and compliance standards Prepare and review monthly reporting packages for Regional Controllers (Sales, Gross Profit, Inventory, etc.) Maintain global desktop procedures to support training and reduce process discrepancies Coordinate with auditors and respond to requests from tax and compliance teams Perform additional finance functions as needed What Makes This Opportunity Unique: Join a collaborative and multinational team of dynamic professionals Be part of a forward-thinking organization that champions process improvement, innovation and data-driven decision making Make a global impact by shaping financial practices across multiple regions Work with modern ERP systems and lead transformation through automation Qualifications: ~ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field ~6+ years of experience in Accounting or Financial Analysis within publicly held companies ~ Minimum 3 years of direct experience in cost or inventory accounting ~ Strong Excel proficiency (complex modeling and analysis) ~ ERP experience required; Oracle a plus ~ Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive, leadership-oriented mindset
