Job Description:

Own your career as a CYBER SECURITY SPECIALIST III - SECURE DATA NETWORKS at GDIT. Our work depends on the Cybersecurity Specialist joining our team with an active Secret clearance, in support of SEIM focused programs.

HOW A CYBER SECURITY SPECIALIST III - SECURE DATA NETWORKS WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Performs forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence. Identifies network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators
  • Seasoned technical individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field.
  • Responsible for developing solutions to technical problems and issues that may be difficult and unclear.
  • Develops technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts, deep analyses and understanding of impact on end-product/solution.
  • Develops solutions to technical problems and issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge.
  • Requires deep understanding of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of technical domain and has broad understanding of other related specialty areas.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • The position requires an active SECRET clearance.
  • Education: Bachelors or three (3) years of additional experience in lieu of degree
  • Required Experience: seven (7+) years of related experience
  • Location: Washington, DC
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Timeline: This work is anticipated to start anytime between August 2025 and March 2026.

The likely salary range for this position is $94,676 - $128,092. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
