Dairy Farm Herdsman Position immediately available on a family-owned, high-producing 500 cow registered Holstein dairy in east central Wisconsin. This position requires the ability to perform normal herdsman tasks including, but not limited to, heat detection, A.I., giving I.V.'s, assisting with birthing, drawing blood and managing timed A.I. protocols. Will be working with a veterinarian and other dairy support people. Training other employees is also expected. Owners willing to train a highly motivated person that shares their passion for dairying. Junior partnership possible for a top performer.
Health insurance after 90 days of employment. One day off every week or every other weekend.
