Job Description: Data Entry Operator

Location: Commerce City, CO 80640

Schedule: 3 days onsite (Tue–Thu), remote Mon/Fri

Pay Rate: $17-19.50

Contract Duration: 12-months

Position Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join our Central Receiving Team. This role plays an essential part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of receiving transactions within SAP. The ideal candidate will excel in a high-volume, structured environment and collaborate closely with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain data accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Responsibilities

• Process packing slips emailed from vendors

• Compare packing slips to purchase orders (POs) to verify accuracy.

• Enter receiving transactions into SAP with speed and precision.

• Manage high-volume data entry (600–1,000+ lines/day team average).

• Communicate with planner buyers, field engineers (CMOs), and vendors to troubleshoot discrepancies.

Additional Responsibilities (as experience increases)

• Perform work order transfers.

• Handle more complex receiving tasks within SAP.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• SAP experience (basic required; more advanced preferred).

• Fast and accurate typing; 10-key by touch strongly preferred.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and spreadsheets.

• Background in supply chain, receiving, accounts payable, payroll data entry, or similar.

Soft Skills

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to thrive in repetitive, high-volume environments.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot issues and collaborate across departments.

• Customer service mindset.

Ideal Background

• 2–5 years of experience in supply chain, receiving, or data entry roles.

• Comfortable working in an office-based, process-driven environment.
