Programs: Head Start/VPK Teachers
Location: Hialeah, Florida

Type: Full-Time | 10- or 12-Month Positions Available

Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required

Positions Available: Early Childhood Teacher

Minimum Requirements (All Positions):

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training.
• Level 2 FDLE Background Screening and Employee Physical.
• Must love working with young children and be energetic.
• Basic computer skills and data entry required.

Position-Specific Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with 18 ECE credits.
• FCCPC or CDA (preferably National CDA).
• Experience in Early Childhood Education; Head Start/VPK experience preferred.

Knowledgeable in:

• HighScope Curriculum 
• Teachstone CLASS 
• Pyramid Model

Responsibilities (All Positions Include but Are Not Limited To):

• Create engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons and environments.
• Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom.
• Use storytelling, music, movement, and hands-on activities to teach concepts.
• Build meaningful relationships with children and families.
• Document children's growth and communicate progress with families.
• Collaborate with team members, attend meetings, and contribute to a positive workplace.
