The EDI Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality, receipt, intake, and analysis of EDI data from external sources. This role involves working closely with data providers to resolve issues, improve data quality, and eliminate root causes of data problems. The analyst will also collaborate with internal teams to deliver accurate data that supports informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, import, and validate incoming EDI data.
Ensure data integrity for reporting and analytics.
Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues.
Collaborate with third-party administrators (TPAs), vendors, and internal stakeholders to improve data processes.
Conduct data quality audits and communicate findings to relevant parties.
Troubleshoot data import issues and implement solutions.
Develop and maintain data quality checks, metrics, and monitoring processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT or finance roles.
Proficient in SQL and relational database querying.
Experience working with large data sets and performing detailed analysis.
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Capable of working independently and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
