Salary: $135,200 - 145,600 per year Requirements:

• I require a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent years of experience.
• You should have a minimum of three (3) years of experience with healthcare payer technologies, preferably with claims processing systems like QNXT.
• I expect you to have at least five (5) years of application development and integration experience using Microsoft technologies, such as C#.NET, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server, and Visual Studio.
• You must possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience managing skilled technical personnel and vendors.
• Proficiency in Transact-SQL, PL/SQL, C#.NET, and Web services is essential.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and BizTalk Server development is required.
• Experience with EDI and HIPAA X12 transaction sets, including but not limited to 837, 835, and 277, is needed.
• You should demonstrate strong business analysis and needs assessment skills, being comfortable and effective in direct interaction with end users.
• Excellent customer service skills are crucial; you must be capable of professionally addressing requests in a high-volume and fast-paced environment while collaborating with other IT department staff, business users, and senior management.
• I look for someone who can work well in a team environment, meet stringent deadlines, and manage multiple projects at once.
• Exceptional communication, managerial, interpersonal, and collaborative skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

• I need you to develop and provide daily support for our internally created Document Management System and other third-party applications.
• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining healthcare payer EDI solutions, primarily focusing on HIPAA X12 transactions related to our QNXT Claims Processing System.
• You will engage in the development of non-X12 EDI imports and exports, as well as XML and text file processing, data mapping, and data conversion projects.
• Participating in project and new initiative meetings will be expected; you will represent the development team, making recommendations and decisions on its behalf.
• You are required to analyze and translate business requests and requirements into functional specifications and technical documentation, manage the development, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with IT and business teams to test and deliver timely results.
• Maintaining relationships with software vendors and EDI trading partners while leading development and troubleshooting efforts for the team is also part of your responsibilities.
• I encourage you to seek avenues for enhancing our development and deployment processes and make constructive suggestions.
• You may also perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management.

This position is a full-time contract role with an expected pay range of $65.00 - $70.00 per hour, requiring 40 hours per week. Benefits include a 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, a health savings account, paid time off, and vision insurance. Additionally, there may be stock options available in the compensation package.

The work schedule consists of an 8-hour shift from Monday to Friday. Please note that commuting to New York, NY 10001 is required, and you must be willing to relocate to this area before starting work. The position offers a hybrid remote work arrangement based in New York, NY 10001.
