Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our agricultural operations, focusing on the efficient and safe operation of various farm machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal husbandry and a strong understanding of farm practices, as well as experience in operating heavy equipment.

Responsibilities
Operate and maintain farm machinery, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and safely.
Assist with animal care and husbandry tasks, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring health.
Utilize hand tools for various tasks related to farm maintenance and operations.
Participate in greenhouse management activities, including planting, watering, and harvesting crops.
Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and operational tasks.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify any maintenance needs or safety hazards.

Requirements
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
Knowledge of animal husbandry practices is a plus.
Familiarity with greenhouse operations and farm machinery is beneficial.
Basic math skills for managing inventory and operational tasks.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
Willingness to learn and grow within the role, adapting to new challenges as they arise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 90 per week
