MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is looking for a dedicated Freight Forwarder to join a leading distribution company in North Houston!

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm (Occasional OT)

Freight Forwarder Requirements:

• Must have at least 3 years of forklift experience.
• Must have at least 3 years of Reach lift experience.
• Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screen
• Must be able to operate a forklift with slip sheet handling.
• Prior experience in roles such as a Forklift Operator, Reach Truck Operator, Cherry Picker Operator, or Warehouse Associate is a big plus!

Freight Forwarder Responsibilities:

• Pick and label warehouse stock products in a timely manner.
• Perform inventory control and maintain quality control on finished products.
• Load and unload orders from incoming vehicles using a forklift or reach lift.
• Pack and wrap orders to prepare for delivery. 
• Maintain and clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional tasks when requested or needed within the warehouse.
