Job Description: Family in Ravenswood is seeking an experienced and loving Nanny for their family! Start January 2024.  
Schedule: Guaranteed 40 hours a week, M-F – 9:00am-5:00pm.
Compensation: $26-$30/hour, + vacation, holidays, and sick days.
 
Job Details and Responsibilities:

• One child- Infant, 6-months-old.
• Responsibilities include all care of the child: feeding, monitoring and facilitating naps, bathing, if needed, developmentally appropriate play with the child, assisting with milestones, tummy time, and changing diapers.
• Light housekeeping includes maintaining cleanliness in the nursery, tidying and organizing toys, washing/sterilizing bottles, and keeping track of the child’s needs.
• Nanny should actively engage with the child in fun, yet developmental, activities, both inside and out of doors.
• One parent works from home full time. The other will work from home frequently as well.  This will be in a separate space. Nanny must be comfortable with this arrangement. 
• The family has one dog. Nanny should be comfortable around dogs and able to assist with letting the dog outside if needed.

Qualifications:

• Nanny should have extensive verifiable nannying and infant care experience.
• Nanny should be warm and caring. Will be able to foster a positive relationship with the child and the family.
• Nanny should be self-sufficient. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs. 
• Reliable and communicative. Will arrive to work on time each day and will work as a team with the parents.
• Nanny should be well-versed and knowledgeable about creating healthy sleep routines, transitioning to solid foods, and child development.
• TDAP, Flu, and COVID vaccinations are required.
