Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and update GIS databases, including data collection, input, and quality control.
Perform spatial analysis and create custom maps and reports to support various departments.
Integrate GIS with other enterprise systems, such as SAP, to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy.
Provide technical support and training to end-users on GIS applications and tools.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement GIS projects.
Develop and maintain GIS applications, including web-based and mobile solutions.
Conduct data analysis, validation, and visualization to support decision-making processes.
Prepare documentation, including user manuals, technical reports, and project plans.
Stay current with GIS trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the continuous improvement of our GIS capabilities.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with ESRI ArcGIS Software Suite, including Enterprise, Desktop, Server, Portal, Pro, and Online.
Proven experience in the electric or gas utilities sector.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, and SQL.
Experience with ArcGIS Runtime SDK, ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python, ArcObjects, ArcPy, Arcade, REST, JSON, GeoJSON, ASP.NET WC, Web API, RDF, HTML, CSS, XML, and Visual Studio.
Strong understanding of relational databases and enterprise GIS solutions.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Bonus: Experience presenting workshops or training sessions on GIS technology within the utilities sector.
