The Division of Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology, a division of the Department of Medicine (DOM) in the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, is seeking a full-time Graduate Medical Education (GME) Fellowship Program Manager to manage the day-to-day administration of their two fellowship programs (Gastroenterology and Hepatology, and Transplant Hepatology) and ensure program compliance within established accreditation guidelines.
This position reports directly to the GME Program Manager II, and works collaboratively with the Fellowship Program Directors, Associate Program Directors, the Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology Division Administrator, faculty, and staff to manage and oversee the fellowship programs. They serve as a content expert for ACGME Accreditation, fellowship program development, and implementation. This position assists with developing and maintaining the educational quality of the training programs and ensures that GME policies and procedures, and other regulatory requirements are met. This position interfaces regularly with faculty, trainees, and other staff in the Division, DOM, and the GME office. The position requires someone who is self-directed with a high degree of professionalism, outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize multiple competing deadlines. The individual in this position will benefit from prior experience working for an academic medical institution, interest in and knowledge of Graduate Medical Education, and experience managing projects, curricular activities, and/or events for adult learners and faculty.Diversity is a source of strength, creativity, and innovation for UW-Madison. - 2 years relevant work experience in medical education administration or related field
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and highly adept at using software applications such as video conferencing platforms, presentation programs, calendaring systems, etc
Full Time: 100%
This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. Terminal, 24 month appointment.
This position has the possibility to be extended or converted to an ongoing appointment based on need and/or funding
Minimum $75,000 ANNUAL (12 months)

The starting salary for the position is $75,000 but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
