Healthcare Advisor, Senior – Contractor HME / DME Experts

CWH Advisors is seeking part-time contract Advisors with expertise in home medical equipment (HME) and durable medical equipment (DME) to support current and future client work. Our Advisors are involved in a wide range of activities—from the project management of our engagements, to researching the latest health technology market disruptors, to offering subject matter expertise, to being an integral member of the delivery team.

We have an exciting opportunity for highly motivated professionals to join our team as a contract Senior Healthcare Advisor.

What You Will Do

The Senior Healthcare Advisor role will evolve based on the firm and client’s needs. However, the following are representative areas of responsibility where we expect each team member to have competencies:

• Expertise in home medical equipment (HME) and durable medical equipment (DME) , including product management, launch management, business development tracking, competitive intelligence dashboards, etc.
• Technologies, expertise in leading technologies specifically for home medical equipment and durable medical equipment i.e. Brightree.
• Project Management Expertise, under the direction of the project lead, managing an engagement team, with primary responsibility for managing scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Direct support of strategic client engagements, including research ; data acquisition and synthesis; analytics; thought partnership; insight development; PowerPoint document creation and storytelling; workshop facilitation; market assessments; forecast development; etc.
• Support for business development activities , including company/product research, proposal development, methodology creation, etc.

You actively participate as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals while producing quality outcomes. You take pride in proactively managing time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently while accomplishing objectives and achieving goals beyond what is required.

In addition to possessing the ability to live our core values daily, candidates must possess the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline – Business, Communications, Healthcare Informatics, etc.
• 8+ years of professional experience working in a healthcare technology or services company, with a focus on HME and DME.
• Proven expert competency with Microsoft Office suite, primarily PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Hungry, self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset, and able to operate independently (with frequent check-ins and mentoring).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Yes, you’ll travel – but it’s generally quite limited, and much of our work is conducted remotely.
