Location Description:

Deloitte Hotel & Conference Center

  • High-end private hotel and conference center called Deloitte University. Closed to the public.
  • Currently 800 hotel rooms - all single occupancy, no suites. Expanding to 1400 rooms in October 2025!
  • Three restaurants including a Starbucks.
  • 105,000 square feet of meeting space - Ballrooms, Amphitheater and classrooms.
  • Fitness Center, jogging trails and sports fields.
  • All professional clientele. No weddings, holiday parties, school groups, or other social-type events.

Overview:

The Recruiting Manager is responsible for the talent acquisition strategies and execution to fill all hourly and manager positions at the hotel. Supports the Director of Human Resources with other aspects and functions within Human Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the overall selection process from sourcing, interviews, assessments, and offer experience for all levels of associates from line to management.
  • Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Assist with creation or updating job descriptions.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting agencies, colleges, universities and job sites. Attends Job Fairs and Career Fairs.
    Build relations with community partners such as Workforce Solutions, Goodwill, and other agencies throughout the DFW area. Also build relationships with local high schools and colleges.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Conduct all pre-screening of line and management position applicants (internal and external).
  • Own our candidate-oriented hiring process to ensure we deliver timely feedback to candidates and maintain ongoing dialogue throughout the hiring process.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Maintain all open positions and requisitons, as well as the hiring process within our HR system.
  • Provides assistance to applicants and all employees visiting Human Resources office.

Qualifications

  • Hotel/Restaurant recruitment experience preferred. Expert knowledge with Internet search tools/techniques and state-of-the-art search and recruiting methodology.

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong computer skills. Highly proficient in Microsoft products; Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint. Microsoft Teams experience desirable.
    Social Media and content creation experience required.

  • Preferred computer skills: HR systems, graphic design apps (such as Canva), and other web based apps.

  • System experience in Human Resources or Applicant Tracking system preferred. Workday and Icims experience desirable.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
