Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal or Legal Secretary with at least two years of experience in immigration law. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced setting. Bilingual Spanish proficiency is required for this position to communicate effectively with our diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist attorneys with preparing and assembling immigration application packages, petitions, and related documentation.
+ Manage case files and track deadlines to ensure timely filing and compliance.
+ Communicate with clients (including Spanish-speaking clients), government agencies, and other stakeholders regarding case updates and requirements.
+ Conduct legal research related to immigration cases as needed.
+ Draft and proofread correspondence, memos, and legal documents in both English and Spanish.
+ Coordinate scheduling for attorney-client meetings, court appearances, and other legal proceedings.
+ Handle administrative tasks such as managing client records, billing, and inbound/outbound communications.

Qualifications
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal or legal secretary in a law firm environment.
+ Strong understanding of immigration processes, including family-based petitions, employment-based visas, and naturalization applications.
+ Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish (bilingual proficiency is strongly preferred).
