Purpose Statement

This is an exciting opportunity for a student who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-driven! In this role you will work with our Global Markets Corporate Finance Department supporting various functions with financial reporting and analysis.

Key Accountabilities And Outcomes

• Develop and maintain automated reporting tools using Power BI and/or Excel VBA.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Assist in the migration of legacy reports to modern platforms (e.g. Power BI).
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Help with documenting processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
• Support projects to better understand economic impacts on business financial results (e.g. market growth rate, inflation rates, consumer price index).
• Support additional projects to find correlations across financial data captured with other data sets.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, working towards earning a Bachelor's or Masters degree (concentration in Finance, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science or related field).
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Ideal candidate will have strong skills in Microsoft excel and/or other tools.
• Proficiency in other Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• Experience with Oracle BI tools, Power BI, and SAP preferred, but not required.
• Functional competencies to include strong financial & interpersonal/communication skills.
• Need to have a general understanding of accounting and U.S. GAAP.
