Job Description

Fellowship Recovery is an outpatient treatment program located in Uptown Minneapolis. We specialize in treating women with children, men with children, as well as individual men and women. We offer smaller group sizes limited to 12 clients and believe in creating a work environment that promotes growth and the support needed in order for our counselors to prevent burnout! We are a small growing company with an Entrepreneural spirit!


The Primary Counselor - LADC/LPCC Dual Credential is a professional serving Fellowship Recovery clients through group sessions, one and one, and develops treatment plans for the individuals served. This role will promote fellowship culture and a positive outlook at work. They will demonstrate good time management, efficiency, and ethical conduct, boundaries, confidentiality, and collaboration. This role is exempt, salaried annually, and full-time at 40 hours per week. This role requires an LADC and LPCC or a valid MN exemption credential. They  will report directly to the Clinical Supervisor.

Pay: $80,000/annual salary
Schedule: AM 8:00-4:30PM

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead Outpatient Treatment groups and Individual treatment sessions.
  • Meet with clients one on one and develop treatment plans based on individual needs.
  • Assist clients in developing skills and behaviors necessary to help clients recover from their addiction or modify their behavior. 
  • Work with clients to identify behaviors or situations that interfere with their recovery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment.
  • Strong compliance with 245G regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, 245G regulatory requirements, and satisfactory job performance.

Skills and Competencies

  • Experience leading groups and working in a hybrid in-person and hybrid telehealth setting
  • Strong treatment planning skills.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data for monitoring client progress.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and time management skills.

Requirement and Qualifications

To be qualified for this position, the person must have: 

  • An Active LADC through the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy, or be exempt from Licensure under 148F.11 and qualified under 245G.11(5). 
  • Have a completed Master's Degree 
  • Be either a Clinical Trainee under 245I.04(5) or a Mental Health Professional under 245I.04(2). 

Fellowship Recovery provides 1 hour of group and 1 hour of individual supervision for clinical trainees each week

Physical Requirements

  • Speaking in public with a small to large group of people, talking, listening.
  • Use computers, typing, and reading.
