Job Title: Lead Pastor

Job Description: As one of the elders, the Lead Pastor provides overall leadership, oversight, and shepherding to the church. His distinctive calling and priority as Lead Pastor is the preaching and teaching of God’s Word.

About Us:

Calvary Baptist Church is in a small town in southern Ohio.  Morning worship attendance is 210-220 in a 20,000sq.ft. building. We have no current debts. The current pastor is retiring and in the past 37 years we have had only two pastors. We are congregational rule with an elder/ representative form of government. Our historic doctrine is dispensational, pre-millennial.     Our ministries are: counseling, recovery, evangelism, AWANA, VBS, camp and teen group. Our services are: Sunday School, Worship, Evening Bible class, and Prayer Meeting.

• Ability to defend and protect our doctrinal heritage

• A heart for souls
• Ability to clearly communicate the gospel
