The function of the Licensed Land Surveyor is to plan, organize, and coordinate the activities of the project to best accomplish the successful completion of all projects to which assigned while operating within the guidelines established by the Regional Survey Manager and/or Division Director and within the policies and procedures established for project management.

Work is performed in both office and field settings. Outdoor work is subject to temperature extremes and inclement weather conditions. Work hours are flexible and are subject to change based upon project schedules.
