Job Summary

  • Seeking a Loader Operator for efficient and safe transportation of various materials at our Garland aggregate site. This is a seasonal position which will begin sometime between Late February and April. Our season vary dependent on weather and business needs but usually end around mid-November.

Main Responsibilities

  • Promote safe work practices and an excellent safety environment
  • Responsible for safe and efficient operation of all equipment
  • Complete daily inspections and maintenance checklist
  • Participate in pre-shift safety huddles
  • Perform routine maintenance and various equipment repairs as needed
  • Responsible for reporting incidents and accidents to supervisors
  • Responsible to report to Plant Superintendent or Supervisors of any potential safety hazards
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned

  • Ability to operate equipment efficiently
  • Ability to communicate with supervisors and peers
  • Self-motivated with the ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes
  • Ability to perform tasks as given from supervisors as well as work as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions

Physical Requirements

  • Able to work in various outdoor weather conditions
  • Able to stand, walk, sit, enter and exit large equipment
  • Able to use arms, hands, and fingers
  • Able to lift and handle objects
