Orlando Informer is offering an exciting opportunity to join a team of smart, innovative professionals dedicated to creating lifetime memories for families around the globe. If you’re a knowledgeable theme-park enthusiast with a proven track record in writing and marketing, this is your chance to use your talents to help others every day.

About Orlando Informer

Founded in 2011, Orlando Informer is a trusted leader in theme-park vacation planning. Each year, we assist millions of guests in planning unforgettable trips to Orlando’s premier destinations. Our exclusive Orlando Informer Meetup, launched in 2015, provides thousands of guests with after-hours park access, unlimited food, and unique entertainment experiences. Additionally, as an authorized retailer of theme-park tickets and hotels, we offer exceptional value and convenience for travelers.

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated marketing professional to craft impactful campaigns, create engaging content, and elevate our brand presence. To succeed in this role, you’ll need a deep understanding of Central Florida’s theme parks, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to think creatively while staying detail-oriented.

Orlando Informer is a small, nimble, remote-first company, so you’ll gain experience across multiple business facets.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to develop and execute impactful marketing campaigns that drive business goals.

• Write and design emails that align with Orlando Informer’s brand identity and resonate with our audience.

• Assist in creating digital advertisements across various platforms, ensuring effectiveness and brand consistency.

• Research and document industry marketing trends and social media advertising best practices.

• Gather and utilize consumer insights to inform marketing materials and strategies.

• Craft unique, compelling copy that highlights product offerings and drives conversions.

• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and create reports to measure campaign success.

• Coordinate and communicate internally and externally to ensure seamless project execution.

• Support our mission to provide personalized communication and experiences for each guest.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in Florida with the ability to frequently visit Central Florida theme parks.
  • Regular working hours are 9 AM – 6 PM; occasional nights and weekends may be required based on business needs.
  • A degree in Marketing, Hospitality Management, Communications, or a related field is required.
  • At least three years of marketing experience, ideally within the travel industry.
  • Proficiency with tools like MailChimp, Canva, and Buffer.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Central Florida’s theme parks.

Benefits

In addition to competitive compensation, Orlando Informer offers:

• Unlimited vacation time.

• Health, vision, dental, and life insurance.

• A company-matched 401(k) plan.

• Tuition reimbursement.

• Orlando theme-park access.

• Flexibility to work remotely.
