Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our team as Marketing Specialist.

Essential Functions:

• Manage property websites to ensure content is accurate, compelling, seasonally relevant and optimized for best user experience, while maintaining compliance with regards to evolving privacy and accessibility laws and requirements.
• Prepare reports and presentations for ownership communication on marketing initiatives and results.
• Directly oversee organic social media content to ensure the property’s posts on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest etc. are on brand, thoughtful and optimize for the best results on each platform.
• Create sales/promotional collateral as needed for property outlets, sales events/trade shows etc.
• Assist and help execute email marketing campaigns.
• Work closely with DOSM to create and execute local advertising placements.
• Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to support special programming and events.
• Manage content on 3rd party websites such as Google, OTAs, OpenTable, Yelp, TripAdvisor etc.
• Develop on property programming and activations while supporting on-property marketing collateral including in-room collateral and other on-property marketing materials utilizing brand standards.
• Execute on-property photo and video shoots.
• Evaluate and respond to donation requests with GM or DOSM approval.
• Contribute to the development of annual marketing/business plan.
• Conduct market research and analyze marketing activities of competitors.
• Facilitate media/influencer stays.
• Work a flexible schedule; some weekends and evenings may be required based on events and content creation.
• Responsible for consistency of branding throughout the property and all departments; internal and external.
• Attend and participate in quarterly marketing meetings with other departments.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Wage range: $35.00-$41.00/hour.

• Eligible for medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and life insurance under our existing group plans.
• Eligible for 401(k) retirement plan with employer match following 1 year of service under our existing plan.
• 11 days of PTO accrued in the first year based on an employee working 40 hours each week.
• Complimentary meal in employee lounge during workday.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College degree or Associate degree with experience.
• Computer savvy including experience with Microsoft Office or comparable software.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Graphic Design experience preferred (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva etc)
• Website content management experience.
• 2+ years of Marketing experience in a relevant field (Previous Hospitality experience a plus).
• Knowledge of current digital marketing and social media marketing trends and best practices.
• Experience managing social media channels for business.
• Self motivated and ability to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail.

Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $35.00/Hr. - $41.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
