Job Description

The company is a privately held, contract manufacturing firm with 50+ years of experience that offers leading-edge engineering and advanced manufacturing to OEM’s in North America. The Berkshire Hathaway firm manufactures plastic components and assemblies using injection molding, heavy-gauge thermoforming, paint, and assembly processes. The company has asked us to find them a top-grade Material Manager for their plant located in the Greater Charlotte, NC area.

A qualified candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Four (4+) plus years of experience in materials management role in a highspeed manufacturing environment
• Scheduling/planning principles and concepts
• Demonstrated skills in using data to analyze root causes to resolve problems
• Experience in Inventory Control Management
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a process improvement approach
• Willingness to change and lead others through change
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to develop a collaborative team
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint)
