Mother/Baby Unit Nurse Manager - Women's Health Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to lead our Mother/Baby Care Unit. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of our postpartum and newborn nursery operations while championing excellence in patient care and staff development. Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise clinical operations of the Mother/Baby Unit, ensuring optimal patient outcomes and safety
• Develop and implement women's health initiatives and quality improvement programs
• Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation for the department
• Foster collaborative relationships with physicians, staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Drive clinical excellence through evidence-based practices and ANA Standards of Care
• Oversee staff development, performance management, and educational initiatives
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain quality metrics
• Build strategic partnerships with community healthcare organizations

Required Qualifications:

• Current Texas RN license or compact license
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• 5 years recent acute care leadership experience in Mother/Baby Unit (or 2 years with supervisory experience)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NRP certification
• Strong clinical and operational leadership abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
• Additional certifications in maternal-child nursing
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives
