Job Duties

• Maintain company grounds including mowing, use hand and backpack sprayers for fertilization and other spray applications, clean-up, snow removal and other duties.
• Perform maintenance and repair of grounds equipment.
• Operate tractors, mowers, front-end loaders, and other mobile equipment.
• Use company vehicle in job tasks and to travel to various locations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Per 8 hr. shift (stand 2 hrs., walk 6 hrs.), frequently (bend/stoop/twist, squat, push/pull), occasionally (crawl/kneel, climb stairs and ladders, reach above shoulder level, reach below knee level, balance), infrequently (work with arms outstretched and work above chest level). Frequent lifting and carrying (frequently from 0 to 24 lbs., occasionally from 25 to 50 lbs.). Must be able to see and do simple and firm grasping with both hands. Must be able to work in environments that include exposure to loud noises occasionally, outdoor/indoor temperatures, detergents, fumes, vibrations, dust, solvents, and oil. Must be able to safely operate a company van. Required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as: operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment; determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned such as custodial, food services, general labor, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Read and follow directions on labels of cleaning solutions, analyze and reason. Must have good interpersonal skills. Be able to perform the same basic tasks every day and follow well established procedures. Work according to daily standard instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
