Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Experience

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Operating Room experience within the past 3 years.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• 3 months of experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required for submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required for submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details

Nurse Only: PCU roles require both a PCU & ICU skills checklist with application.

Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Appendicitis, bone fracture, cholecystitis, subdural hematoma, hernias

Unit/Facility Details: 17 OR Rooms 2 Cysto Rooms

Shift & Scheduling: 2 late stays per week, 1 on-call per week, rotating weekend call every 3 weeks

• Start: Weekly, Wednesday starts

Must be able to start within 3 weeks of requested start date. ASAP start dates are required to start within 6 weeks.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 10/31/2025, 11/27/2025, 12/24/2025, 12/25/2025, 12/31/2025. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
