Title : Operations Manager, Title Insurance

Location: Coraopolis, PA (fully on-site)

Responsible for closing and curative Title Services loans, ensuring compliance with established policies, regulatory requirements, and loan terms, while ensuring an enhanced experience for clients. This includes reviewing data for compliance fees and documents.

As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties:
  • Manage and oversee the entire closing team, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations and standards of excellence.
  • Monitor and evaluate employee's performance by auditing predetermined % of files to proactively identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports and escalations to supervisor, as needed, and as requested.
  • Attend, plan, and participate in regular and ad hoc departmental meetings.
  • Provide training and develop team members to enhance team performance.
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with lender customers, realtors, and all other applicable parties.
  • Exceed levels of Customer Service delivery established by the Company and client.
  • Assist with escalations and analyze and assess the nature of the escalation to determine appropriate actions, gather additional information, if required to resolve escalated matters timely, exhibiting observable sense of urgency in the execution of all job functions and duties.
  • Resolve complaints and requests in a prompt and professional manner and escalate complex matters to upper management per company policy.
  • Monitor SLA's and identifies areas of strength/weakness to be addressed.
  • Manage staff to balance workloads and accomplish results through effective recruitment, selection, training, development, performance management, and recognition; holds direct reports accountable for developing staff competency in their areas of responsibility and meeting assigned goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years mortgage banking, title services, loan processing, or closing experience.
  • Familiarity with various loan programs, as well as compliance regulations.
  • Prior experience working with title service systems preferred.
  • Maintain flexible hours
  • Knowledge of industry guidelines and procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Solid leadership capabilities with the ability to organize, build teams, influence, and develop others.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels within and outside of the organization . 
  • Excellent organizational, technical and relationship skills.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
