Primary Function

Big Brand is looking for people who want to explore, experiment and innovate to come up with the best ideas.

Exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer (Packaging) for a 6-month temporary assignment.

Under the direction of the Design Packaging Lead, you will contribute to the overall creation and implementation of package designs that translate the brand’s line look, messaging, and products.

Pawtucket - hybrid-on-site three days per week

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and execute packaging concepts which include line looks, logos, basic structural studies, etc. using standard industry computer graphics software
  • Collaborate with full brand creative team along with cross-functional team members to effectively sell products and showcase key features both on packaging and ecommerce assets
  • Drive and art direct photoshoot for packaging and ecomm assets
  • Participate and contribute to brainstorm sessions and consistently use sense of creativity, foresight and good design judgement in developing and applying marketplace trends (e.g. competitive graphics, styles, fashion, lifestyles, etc.) Utilize internal resources and time management skills to independently manage projects and achieve individual project milestones and provide support for presentation, trade show and other packaging comp needs

Skills & Qualifications

  • Package Concept
  • Layout Ideation (Proficent in Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Photoshoot Direction Package Comps + Mock Ups (digital + physical)
  • Presentation Skills both inperson and remote

Education & Experience

  • Package Concept + Layout Design
  • Photoshoot art direction
  • Presentation skills
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite, (PSD, AI, InD), video editing (After Effect or similar program will be a bonus), Powerpoint, keynote.
