Description We are looking for a skilled Litigation Paralegal with expertise in California employment law to contribute to our team. This remote role offers an opportunity to support attorneys in managing various aspects of employment litigation, including single-plaintiff cases, class actions, and related matters. The ideal candidate will excel in handling legal documentation, case management, and discovery processes. Responsibilities: - Organize and maintain litigation files throughout all stages of the case, from initial intake to final resolution. - Oversee case calendars, manage deadlines, and handle court filings at both the state and federal levels. - Prepare and respond to discovery requests, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. - Coordinate document collection, production, and labeling, including managing eDiscovery platforms and conducting privilege reviews. - Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and settlement agreements for attorney review. - Assist in deposition preparation and trial proceedings by organizing materials and providing logistical support. - Monitor and comply with court rules and procedures to ensure all filings are accurate and timely. - Collaborate with attorneys to streamline litigation processes and provide strategic support. - Conduct thorough research and analysis to support case strategy and development. Requirements - Proven experience as a Litigation Paralegal, with a focus on California employment law. - Strong understanding of discovery processes, legal documentation, and eDiscovery tools. - Familiarity with civil litigation procedures, including state and federal court systems. - Proficient in case management software and other legal technology platforms. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing case files and deadlines. - Ability to draft and review legal documents with precision and accuracy. - Effective communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with attorneys and other team members. - Knowledge of trial preparation and procedures, including deposition coordination and material organization.
