Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic part-time afternoon babysitter to care for two wonderful children, a 5-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl, in the charming community of Batavia. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys spending time with kids and would like to join a warm, professional family. The position involves picking up the children from school at 3:30 PM and caring for them until 6 PM, Monday through Friday, with extended hours until 7 PM once or twice a month. No weekends are required, though additional hours may be offered occasionally.

Your responsibilities will include driving the children to activities such as swimming lessons or doctor’s appointments, light meal preparation, occasional laundry for the kids, and keeping common areas tidy. A love for animals is a plus, as the household includes two very sweet cats.

Schedules are provided at least four weeks in advance, sometimes even sooner, allowing for easy planning.
