Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 7 Days/Week Rotation
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient care in a skilled nursing facility setting. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative services that promote mobility, functional independence, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
Deliver therapeutic interventions as outlined in the established care plan.
Assist patients in improving strength, mobility, and functional abilities.
Monitor and document patient progress in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
Modify treatment techniques based on patient response and therapist guidance.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and functional activities.
Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to support holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
Ensure safe use of equipment and report maintenance needs.
Promote a positive and supportive therapy environment.
Adhere to all professional, ethical, and facility standards.
