Commure+Athelas is seeking a certified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to help launch and support our remote therapy program. This is a rare work-from-home opportunity for an experienced and tech-savvy therapy assistant looking to innovate in patient care.
Assist in launching and operating a remote therapy program.
Support patients with guided therapy under the supervision of a licensed DPT or OTR.
Utilize digital platforms to track patient progress, adjust care plans, and support recovery goals.
Provide professional and friendly virtual patient interactions.
Troubleshoot basic tech issues related to remote therapy delivery.
Certified PTA (CPTA) or OTA (COTA) with compact licensure and CA license required.
Minimum 2 years of direct patient care experience in an outpatient or hospital setting.
Strong computer literacy and ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
Fluent in English with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
Experience re-evaluating care plans, modifying home exercise programs (HEP), and setting patient goals.
2+ years of experience in a CPTA or COTA role.
LPN/LVN or RN licensure is a plus.
Flexible availability to accommodate patient needs.
Quick learner, adaptable to new digital health tools.
Bi- or multilingual is a plus.
