OT Specialist Immediate Start Available Full-Time | FMLA Coverage

Our Organization is partnering with an exceptional Illinois School District that is looking to contract a full-time Occupational Therapist. We do our part by providing our therapists with unmatched career opportunities, compensation and personalized service that goes beyond job placement.

Role Responsibilities:

Perform detailed assessments to evaluate clients’ functional, physical, and sensory-motor abilities.
Design and execute personalized therapy plans tailored to clients’ individual needs and objectives.
Partner with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to foster client growth and achievement.
Deliver therapy sessions aimed at enhancing motor skills, sensory integration, self-care abilities, and daily living activities.
Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to the creation of goals and treatment plans.
Pursue ongoing professional development to stay informed about the latest techniques and innovations in occupational therapy.
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and required reports in line with professional standards.
Guide clients and families by providing practical strategies and recommending adaptive tools to promote independence across various settings.

Requirements

Hold a state certification with an OT endorsement.
Possess an active Illinois Occupational Therapy license.
Previous experience in occupational therapy, ideally with children of varying abilities.
Have at least a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
